How do I join?
Install the Modrinth launcher, add our "Cobbleverse" modpack, and connect to play.cobbletowny.com. The Play page walks through it step by step with screenshots.
Does it cost anything?
No. CobbleTowny is free and there is no pay-to-win. The store sells cosmetics and rank perks that help cover hosting — nothing that makes you stronger in a battle.
Which Minecraft version do I need?
The modpack sorts that out for you. Install it through Modrinth and it pulls the right version and mods automatically — you do not need to match anything by hand.
Can I play with my friends?
Yes, and it is better that way. Found a town together, share a treasury, trade Pokemon, and battle each other whenever you like.
How do the gyms work?
There are eight gyms, each with a type theme and a custom team. Beat a leader to earn their badge; collect all eight to challenge the Elite Four and go for Champion.
What if I get stuck?
Open a ticket in Discord or use the in-game help command. Staff are on most of the day and the community is good about answering the easy ones quickly.
